Day 01: Delhi Sightseeing
Jama Mosque -Largest Mosque in India. The courtyard can accommodate more than 25,000 people.
Chandni Chowk: Rickshaw Ride of Chandani Chowk, One of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. It was built in 17th century by fifth Mughal Emperor of India Shah Jahan who ordered to build the Taj Mahal and designed by his daughter Jahanara.
Humayun Tomb-Tomb of second Mughal emperor Humayun. It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent.
Rajghat – the resting place of Mahatma Gandhi.
Qutub Minar– the tallest brick minaret in the world.
Lotus Temple– Bahá’í House of Worship the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification.
India Gate and President House of India -best example of British architecture in India.
Day 02: Delhi-Jaipur:
After breakfast drive to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan also known as the Pink city of India. On arrival check-in to your hotel. In the evening visit Birla Temple to be a part of the evening ceremony (Arti), Birla Temple is also known as Laxmi Narayan Temple, because temple dedicated to God Vishnu-the preserver and his consort Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. Birla Mandir is constructed in the finest quality white marble.
Day 03: Jaipur Sightseeing:
After breakfast meet our local guide in your hotel lobby and leave for sightseeing tour of the Pink City Jaipur. Visit Amer Fort (you can experience elephant ride, cost not included), drive through Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal (photo stop). After lunch you can visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar. If you wish you can also visit some recommended shopping places only which support the local communities and promises to provide a sustainable tourism to the local government and people. In evening you also have an option to visit a local Hindu Temple.
Day 04: Jaipur-Agra:
After breakfast drive to Agra (almost 5 hours). On the way visit Abhaneri-Abhaneri is a prominent step well which has been used as a filming location for a number of films such as The Fall, The Dark Knight Rises and Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. On arrival check-in to your hotel and the rest of the day is free for leisure activities.
Day 05: Agra Sightseeing – Delhi:
After breakfast visit the most awaited monument of the tour Taj Mahal with our local guide. Also visit Agra Fort- The living history of city Agra and Mughal empire. Visit some local art galleries. Drive to Delhi on arrival check-in to your hotel.
Day 06: Delhi-Rishikesh:
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh (5 hours).On arrival check in to your Ashram after some rest in the evening go to attend the evening ceremony on the ghats of river Ganges. Later spend your time on the Ghats, enjoy a vegetarian dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 07: Rishikesh Sightseeing:
Visit Triveni Ghat: Start your day early with a visit to Triveni Ghat. Participate in the morning Ganga Aarti and take a holy dip in the Ganges River. Visit Bharat Mandir, one of the oldest temples in Rishikesh, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Visit Ram Jhoola and Laxman Jhoola: Explore these iconic suspension bridges. Walk across local markets and enjoy the view of the Ganges and surrounding areas. Head to a local café for lunch. Try traditional Indian cuisine or some popular cafes like Little Buddha Café or Ganga View Café.
Afternoon visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram: Visit this renowned ashram and explore its serene environment. You can also participate in yoga or meditation sessions if available. Beatles Ashram (Chaurasi Kutia): Visit this historic ashram where The Beatles stayed in the 1960s. It’s now a beautiful place covered in graffiti art and is a great spot for photos. Attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan: a mesmerizing experience with chants, fire, and rituals by the river.
Day 08: Delhi – Rishikesh:
Drive back to Delhi. Drop you off to your hotel or Airport or any pre-decided place.
